Vigilant POS operator Raises Alarm Which Led To The Arrest Of A Lady Attempting To Carry Out Transaction With Fake Naira Notes

A lady whose name is Linda Ihebinike has been arrested by the police after she allegedly tried to fool a POS operator by attempting to carry out a transaction with fake naira notes.

According to the spoke person of the Lagos state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin who disclosed this to the media, the lady in question was arrested when the sharp and vigilant POS operator discovered she was carrying fake naira notes to the tune of #90,000 in #1,000 notes, which she obviously planned to hand over to the POS operator after "money transfer transaction" which prompted him to raise alarm.

Gunmen Brutally Murder General Overseer And Pastor In Akwa Ibom State

Gun wielding men have attacked and killed the founder of the Mount of Solution Redeemed Church (MSRC), Apostle Elisha Asuquo and the pastor in charge of the church, Aniekan Ibanga, in Ikot Ekang, a community in Abak Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state.  The general of overseer was gunned down by men suspected to be assassins who made their way into the church national headquarters at about 7:30pm at weekend during the parish meeting causing pandemonium in the process. An eyewitness told newsmen that the gunmen stormed the church premises on a motorcycle and after killing the clerics they fled through Abak-Ikot Ekpene Federal Highway. The late man of God, Apostle Asuquo is said to hail from Adiasim in Essien Udim Local Government Area, while Pastor Aniekan Ibanga, was from Ikot Obioikpa village, Afaha Obong Clan, in Abak LGA.
