Hon. Ikenna Ihezuo (Ikemba) Moves A Motion For The Rehabilitation Of Old Owerri/Orlu Road To The Delight Of The Patriotic Citizens Of Orlu LGA, Imo State.

The perspicacious Honourable Member Representing Orlu State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. High Chief Dr. Barr. Ikenna Martins Ihezuo (Ikemba), has showcased his legislative functions towards the growth and development of Orlu LGA, as he moves a motion on the need to reconstruct the failed portion of the Old Owerri Road starting from Y-junction, Owerre-Umudioka, Umuowa, Owerre-Ebiri, Umuna, Amifeke and Nkwito junction in Orlu LGA, Imo State, yesterday March 26, 2024.

Ikemba who has been working on the motion from the onset, is determined to transform Orlu to a Constituency to behold, as he keep moving motions upon motions that would benefit the good people of Orlu LGA.

The motion from Ikemba was so powerful and effective that eleven (11) house members co-sponsored it and they are;
Hon.Dominic Ezerioha, Rt.Hon. Kennedy Ibeh, Hon.Francis Agabige, Hon.Kelechi Ofurum, Hon.Innocent Ikpamezie, Hon.Johnleoba Iheoha, Hon.Chigozie Nwaneri, Hon.Samuel Osuji, Hon.Kingsley Ozurumba, Hon.Gilbert Nwosu and Hon.Henry Agbasonu.

Hon. Chief Dr. Barr. Ikenna Martins Ihezuo (Ikemba), as the chief sponsor of the motion, spoke extensively about the need for our capacity Governor, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, to mandate the ministry of works in the state to carry out thorough repairs and reconstruction/rehabilitation works on the above mentioned roads in Orlu LGA for the benefit of the citizens.

Due to the enormous weight of the motion by Ikemba, the Imo State House of Assembly Committee on Works are mandated to engage in an on the spot inspection of the failed portions in Orlu LGA.

Ikemba's pragmatic capacity and capability makes him stand out as one of the best house member to represent Orlu State Constituency. He is keen and determined to put everything in place in Orlu. 

Ikemba's legislative acumen and articulative tendencies is an added Avantage which would surely bring about the necessary human capital and infrastructural development the patriotic citizens of Orlu have always yearned for.

The State Police command in Kaduna State has confirmed the arrest of a housewife who allegedly paid an assassin to kill her husband so as to avoid paying him the debt of #400,000. The terrible incident happened in Rafin Guza community in Kaduna metropolis, as reported by security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama. It was reported that the husband of the woman borrowed her the sum of #400,000 for her to do business of which she gladly promised to pay back. But when her business began to flourish, her husband demanded she pay back but she bluntly refused. Out of desperation and with the idea of her not paying back the money, she decided to hire a street urchin known as Tola and his gang to end the life of her husband so that the issue of him disturbing her constantly for the money would become a thing of the past.

Gunmen Brutally Murder General Overseer And Pastor In Akwa Ibom State

Gun wielding men have attacked and killed the founder of the Mount of Solution Redeemed Church (MSRC), Apostle Elisha Asuquo and the pastor in charge of the church, Aniekan Ibanga, in Ikot Ekang, a community in Abak Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state.  The general of overseer was gunned down by men suspected to be assassins who made their way into the church national headquarters at about 7:30pm at weekend during the parish meeting causing pandemonium in the process. An eyewitness told newsmen that the gunmen stormed the church premises on a motorcycle and after killing the clerics they fled through Abak-Ikot Ekpene Federal Highway. The late man of God, Apostle Asuquo is said to hail from Adiasim in Essien Udim Local Government Area, while Pastor Aniekan Ibanga, was from Ikot Obioikpa village, Afaha Obong Clan, in Abak LGA.
